Well, we had a Gathering on Saturday!  Did it have glitches that interrupted the flow sometimes?  Yes, it did.  But did people get to hear and see some music and instruments from both new and familiar faces?  Yes, they did.  So I count the event as a success.   Thanks to Randall, Joe, Mike and Dave for all helping with various tasks!  And thanks again to Jim Haskins at Webex!

As you know already if you watched, The Harp Guitar Gathering® bestowed a well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award on Muriel Anderson.  Incidentally, she called me after the event was over and was a little concerned about the word “Lifetime” in the name of the award, as if we thought she was ready to retire or something.  I assured her that we all continue to expect great things from her, just as we do from Andy Wahlberg who received one of these from The Harp Guitar Foundation® a few years ago.
