The Harp Guitar Gathering™ is now officially a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization!  

It’s taken nearly a year for all the necessary paperwork to be filed and the approvals to be granted.  We’ve been legal with the State of Connecticut for some months now but I’ve been waiting on the IRS. Finally, I received notification of our federal tax-exempt status in last Saturday’s mail.  The Gathering is an independent non-profit corporation now.

Our reason for being is on our Mission Statement page.

Thanks to John Thomas for helping to make this happen.  And thanks to the Harp Guitar Foundation (Gregg, Jaci, and Frank) for providing a home to the Gathering for the last decade!

So what does all this mean?  Well, it means that if you – the person reading this, right now – are so inclined, you can now make a tax-deductible donation to The Harp Guitar Gathering.  And please do feel free to be thusly inclined!
