Saturday, Nov 9 – AT THE WILLIAMSBURG LIBRARY (515  Scotland Street) ALL DAY

9:00 – Opening remarks and music by Stephen Bennett

9:45 – Re-Introducing Larry Berwald

10:15 – Larry Haron – The ‘Why’ of Harp Guitar in  Therapeutic Music

11:15 – Introducing Calum Graham

12:00 – LUNCH – you’re on your own*

1:30 – Luthier’s Forum (in auditorium)

2:15 – SB teaches Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer (in small room)

3:30 – Break

3:45 – Harp Guitar Ensemble – Kinloch Nelson has composed and arranged a piece for us to learn and play together. He’ll guide us through it. Everyone should be able to play a part!

5:15 – DINNER – you’re on your own

7:30 – Concert 

Sunday, Nov 10 – AT THE HOTEL ALL DAY (351 York Street)

9:00 – Kim Person & Kinloch Nelson workshop – harp guitar for singer/songwriters

10:00 – Mark Farley teaches Hannah’s Waltz

11:00 – Calum Graham workshop

12:00 – Harp Guitar Year in Review with Sir Gregory

1:00 LUNCH is included in your registration**  

3:00-5:00 Concert 

6:00 Dinner followed by Open Mic  – Note that dinner is not included in your registration, you’ll need to pay for it separately.

FOR ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE GATHERING – BUT WHO DOESN’T YET HAVE A HARP GUITAR, DON’T LET THAT STOP YOU! THE HGG HAS PURCHASED TWO INSTRUMENTS FOR THIS VERY PURPOSE, SO IF YOU LET US KNOW THAT YOU’RE COMING AND WOULD LIKE TO USE ONE OF THESE WHILE YOU’RE HERE, PLEASE EMAIL theharpguitargathering@gmail.com AND TELL US! ***

* A list of places near the library to eat on Saturday will be included in your registration packet

** Box lunches will be delivered to the hotel. A menu will be emailed to you two weeks beforehand. That email will ask you to send an email with your selections from the menu. That will allow us to get that info to the vendor in time.
